I just watched the video... oh how I would love to go. I'm going to float the idea at my small non-profit office. Maybe there's a way for us to go next year. I know it's a dream - but it's a good one!

About Me:

I love learning new things, exploring ideas.

At the moment, I'm exploring creativity in education in a new project looking at the schools we need for the 21st century. My work responsibilities include managing websites and research for People for Education, a registered charity in Ontario. We are a parent led advocacy and research organization working to support public education in Ontario's English, French and Catholic schools.

I love being outside. I walk everywhere and snowboard when I can in the winter (I even became an instructor a few years back) and this past summer I bought a second hand windsurfer and taught myself how to windsurf.

I'm the mother of two. My son Dale is studying Heritage Carpentry at Algonquin College in Perth, ON. My daughter, who was in kindergarten when I started volunteering with P4E, is in her first year at U of T. (They are both attended Toronto District School Board schools from junior kindergarten to graduation.)
