Paul,
Sorry not to have followed up sooner.

Your contributions were inspiring, given that you actually deliver using these principles. I have discussed things with my wife, who is the senior lecturer, programme manager and educationalist.

Personally, I'm trying to learn as many of the teaching and facilitation methods together with the thinking behind it all, so that I can get as bigger picture of education across the world.

It may be a bit anal but, for me, as a lay person, to understand the possibilities for innovation in education and, perhaps separating creative thinking a little away from the classroom to enable those best methods to be formulated and 'captured' on a more generic basis, I'm simply trying to establish an overview.

Maybe the work and the thinking I am targeting already exists, but the very search is, in itself, a useful thing. Hopefully, I will find the time to talk to others, to share a few thoughts and to reflect upon the position at which I intend to arrive.

Regarding skyping around the CoRT concepts, I'd really appreciate a couple of lines from you to highlight what you consider the best aspects of the technique and to give any success story examples, to set the scene. I have, of course, read up a little on DeBono (whilst registering that such a valuable contribution shrinks into obscurity alongside the worldwide fame of one Paul David Hewson AKA U2's Bono - apologies for the distraction).

If, when doing your work, you use any other thinking and methods I would be most interested. I hope that Barbara may offer up some useful thoughts when I can drag her from the workplace and the demands of her 'Progressive Learning' team and students.

Hope all goes well with you

Hi Paul
Can you point me, the uninitiated, towards any link that would explain current DeBono CoRT applications. To understand the basics I've done a search, scoping the background. Is there any updated stuff or can the original thinking stand up to scutiny, enabling facilitation simply with a bit of modern day innovation mixed in. How is it going?

Can you plesae offer a couple of lines to underpin this thinking?

Hi Paul, Great to see you here. Yes, I recall the CoRT stuff very well and used with kids, college students and in corporate training. It would be fun to see it again.
Hope you make it to Mindcamp.

OK, I'd like to do something on an "old" methodology, CoRT thinking developed by deBono a couple of decades ago. Sedgewick would know about it. I've been doing some workshops for kids who are in a local theater summer camp using CoRT thinking and I am reminded how quickly kids can be creative using these tools.

This sound OK? If so, I'll develop a write-up.

BTW, great idea this "The Hub."

Hey Paul! Welcome aboard. Haven't seen you in ages. I'm afraid it looks like all the MC slots are full. If you want to submit something though, there's always the possibility that someone may have to drop out at the last minute. In any case we would love (LOVE) to have you. Just your being around is pretty cool.
