I have learned valuable lessons from watching and listening to celebrities, politicians, prominent people and organizations in our society. Some of the things I have learned are:
I have learned toleration from the intolerant Perez Hilton.
I have learned silence from the talkative Rush Limbaugh.
I have learned value from the scam artist Bernie Madoff.
I have learned the merits of an education from Paris Hilton.
I have learned unselfishness from the Reverend Al Sharpton.
I have learned love from watching the Jerry Springer show.
I have learned conscience from the wife murderer Drew Peterson.
I have learned honesty from Barney Frank for saying he’s not responsible for the banking mess.
I have learned about objective journalism from watching CNN
I have learned about charity from the tax returns of Tom Daschle.
I have learned about humility from Bill and Hillary Clinton.
I have learned about family from Octomom.
I have learned about freedom of speech from the political correctness police.
I have learned about telling the truth from listening to politicians of both parties.
I have learned about God from listening to atheists
I have learned about commitment from Travis Henry.
I have learned about hypocrisy from Jesse Jackson.
I have learned about patriotism from listening to the ACLU.
I have learned all these things from all these people and organizations; yet, how strange it is that I am not grateful to any of these teachers.
